What if Alfred Hitchcock were alive? Nay, what if two Alfred Hitchcocks were alive? Surely they would be embroiled in a noirish thriller, whereby each one tries to kill the other! With the '50s Cold War as the politically charged background, this ingenious conceptual mockumentary uses footage of Hitchcock from his television series and others in order to "cast" the famed director as a paranoid history professor. Underneath, however, is a social commentary about the culture of fear since that time period, as broadcast to us via the media.
